CALLEJON Films 'Phantomschmerz' Video

December 12, 2008

German "riff masters" CALLEJON have finished filming a video for the song "Phantomschmerz" taken from the band's new album, "Zombieactionhauptquartier", which was released last month via Nuclear Blast Records.

Commented singer Bastian Sobtzik: "We definitely wanted something special that matches the topic of the songs just well. A sophisticated script, lights, concept, clothes and a high level of standards were necessary to achieve the vision we had about it. It was great to see the video itself evolving on and on working with people having good ideas with lots of dedication and devotion. We're pretty exicted about to see how the fans will respond to our very first video! Thanks to all the people who made it possible!"

CALLEJON will team up with SONIC SYNDICATE for the the Darkness Over X-Mas Tour between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Other acts on the bill include LEGION OF THE DAMNED, NEAERA, CALLEJON, LAY DOWN ROTTEN, ANIMA.

The dates are as follows:

Dec. 25 - Köln, Germany - Essigfabrik
Dec. 26 - Leipzig, Germany - Werk 2 (with MAROON)
Dec. 27 - Herford, Germany - X
Dec. 28 - Karlsruhe, Germany - Substage
Dec. 29 - Henndorf bei Salzburg, Austria - Wallerseehalle
Dec. 30 - Aschaffenburg, Germany - Colossaal

According to the band's official bio, CALLEJON's "very special German-shouted screamometal kicks ass as hell, mixing an explosive cocktail of IRON MAIDEN pickings, violent mosh attacks, unconventional song structures, and a braincracking vocal performance. Playing live, CALLEJON tear down everything, live for their audience, and die for their music. So what is left? Actually the most innovative German hardcore band."

CALLEJON is:

Bastian Sobtzick - Vocals
Thomas Buschhausen - Guitar
Bernhard Horn - Guitar
Thorsten Becker - Bass
Bodo Stricker- Drums
